Unlike the previous Fallout games, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. The system is first introduced to the player during the opening sequence before the Great War, where a representative of Vault-Tec comes to the player's house to ask a few questions so they can reserve a spot in Vault 111. system governs many important character traits.
